Did you know?
Grey-headed flying foxes are a threatened species that play a vital role in pollinating plants and spreading seeds throughout the native forests of south-eastern Australia.
Flying-fox pups cling to their mothers for the first four to five weeks of life — hitching a flight while their mother searches for fruits and blossoms. There are approximately 60 species of flying foxes worldwide. These magnificent creatures can be found in warm climate regions including India, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia.
